Three Foods that you should try in Nepal

Food is not just something to eat, its a kind of pleasure and happiness.Nepal, though small, has varieties of culture and within this culture there are varieties of foods to eat. Here are some mouthwatering foods that you should try in Nepal. 

1.Kheer

 Kheer is a sweet dish made with rice, milk and sugar.For the topping you can add some nuts, almonds, coconut, kaaju and kishmish. It is especially made in auspicious occassions. It is a traditional food in Hindu culture as they believe that kheer is especial food of Lord Shiva.

2. Thakali Thali Set

Thakali thali is also a must try food in Nepal. You can taste different flavours of dishes in a single thali. You get some rice, daal, chapati, varieties of vegetables like spanich , cauliflower and chutney with a lot of spice in it .It tastes so great. 


 


3. MOMO

People are crazy about "MOMO". It is made from maida with some fillings in it.you can choose your own fillings like some veggies or chicken or mutton. In every streets of kathmandu you can find restaurants selling momos. You can get fried, steamed or spiced.
